As a storyteller, journalist, and editor, I am a brand communications specialist with twelve years of experience with responsibility for strategic branded content initiatives for and within corporations, publications, and agencies. Bringing a creative and innovative perspective to corporate communications, I lead content teams, newsrooms, and execute content operations, partnering will all manner of cross-functional stakeholders and team members. In this way my work impacts all audiences, including consumers, small, medium, and enterprise businesses, global employees, investors, analysts, and journalists.

I am also a culture and entertainment writer, editor and journalist, specialising in news and feature writing, content marketing, social media, city guides, travel and lifestyle content. Originally from Sydney, Australia, I now live in New York City.

I’ve worked for more than 14 years in branded content, corporate communicatinos, editorial, and custom publications across topics including culture, lifestyle, entertainment, travel, industry and government. Currently, I am Managing Editor of PayPal’s Global Newsroom Network and global employee channels, bringing a unique internal-external perspective to all activities across the Corporate Affairs teams and beyond. Previously, I worked as Editor of AWOL(January 2018 to March 2020), a joint publishing venture with premier Australian airline Qantas, inspiring young people to travel the world, which counted more than 440,000 page views per month. As Editor I was responsible for all editorial output across the site and social media. I managed my own team, created and executed editorial strategy and oversaw video packages for social. I consistently exceeded targets for content quotas, quality and traffic delivery.

Before that, I worked at Hardie Grant Media as Managing Editor on the This Week portfolio of city guides for Sydney and Melbourne, and I led the creative team on the launch of new food and activity city guides for Parramatta. Also in my time at Hardie Grant, I worked on the magazines Travel ideas for Flight Centre and Travel Post for Luxury Escapes.

I have also worked on travel and lifestyle publication for other major travel companies, including Jetstar, Regional Express, Destination NSW, Best Western, and Airnorth. I have worked in a freelance capacity for varied clients and publications including Concrete Playground, CEO Magazine, OUTthere magazine, Jetstar Magazine, Smile, Australian Traveller, Scoot Magazine and other publications.

I love storytelling, and writing is why I’m in this business, but I find photography and video to be just as compelling both to create and to tell a story. In my personal life, reading and writing is my first love, but I’m also passionate about cinema, travel, languages, baking, and fitness.
